Medici Chapels in Florence

This very beautiful complex contains not just the Medici chapel but also a mausoleum begun in 1605 and the New Sacristy, designed by Michelangelo. The chapels are not so much a museum as they are an homage to the talent and ingenuity of the architecture and sculpture of the 15th and 16th centuries.

Costs: Entrance fee to be paid in cash when picking up the reserved tickets
